'Ziggy's Potato' is a holocaust survivor story, written for children by Sharon Sorokin and published by Bikabow Books.  It follows Ziggy, a small boy living in Germany during World War II, who is interned in a concentration camp.  Hope is found in a potato he finds in his meagre prison soup and it travels with him, after liberation, to America.  The book is based on a true story.
The illustrations for this book required careful research and were checked for accuracy by survivors with lived experience.
