The 'Escape from Coronaland' Map was created for a Brighton Chamber of Commerce event 'Base Camp' - a business response to the pandemic with over 150 attendees, four workshops and inspirational speakers including Natalie Haynes and Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton. I ran one of the 45 minute online workshops with a focus on allegorical map-making. Participants were encouraged to create their own maps. metaphorically documenting personal and professional experiences of the pandemic.
The first map shown here was hand drawn and lettered in pen and ink. The second has been coloured in Photoshop.
