White ladies, phantom hangmen and poltergeist toilets that flush of their own accord! A fun collection of ghost stories from the Sussex seaside town of Brighton.  The map is hand drawn and lettered in pen and ink.  The elaborate curlicues and wreathes are inspired by gravestones and  'death stationery' - invitations to funerals in the 18th and 19th centuries.  The 'story bubbles' reference the formal but obviously loose and handrendered lettering of Regency cartoons.
