In 2011, Brighton held its annual White Night Festival - an all night arts event ending with a mass sing-song on the beach at dawn. The theme was Utopia/Distopia and I made this stop motion animation (with help from Fat Pebble) which was projected large scale and looping on the side of Brighton Youth Centre. Is the 'City of Youth', utopian or not and does it last for ever?
