As an established illustrator and the author of 'Hand Drawn Maps - A Guide for Creatives' (pub. Thames and Hudson), I have given talks and workshops about mapmaking, mapmakers and my artistic process in general. With four years’ experience teaching basic skills and ESOL English to adults (at Sussex Downs further education college) and running a film themed craft club for children (at Dukes at Komedia Picturehouse cinema), I’m well used to demystifying language and breaking processes down into manageable blocks, transferring these skills to workshops appropriate for all age groups. Audiences have previously included school and university students, artists and illustrators, small business owners, cartographers, academics, teachers and the general public.
