Drawings commissioned by the BBC as props to be used on the set of the costume drama 'Howard's End', screened in 2017. The portraits in pencil and graphite were ostensibly of the characters of the Schlegel family (played by Alex Lawther and Hayley Atwell shown here) and were to have a feel of the early 1900s about them. I researched drawn portraits of the time, for example by Egon Schiele, to inform my work.
