Illustrations commissioned by Lewes and Eastbourne District Council for interpretation boards at the Cockshut Stream restoration project in Sussex.
The first illustration maps the environment, flora and fauna of this rare chalk stream and wetlands habitat. The second illustration links the Cockshut with a richly historical human story and depicts how the stream and its uses have changed from Neolithic times to the present in a long flowing ribbon.
A2 in size and hand painted in watercolour.
The title panel and paragraph headings are hand lettered. Other graphic design by Julien Lesage.
