A map created for the endpapers of the novel 'The Last of the Earth' by award-winning author Deepa Anappara. The novel traces the journey of three travellers (two British, one Indian) through the forbidden territory of mid-19th century Tibet and explores colonialism through the history of cartography and surveying.
The map shows historical Tibet and was hand drawn and lettered in pen and ink.  Publishing 2026 by One World in the UK and Random House in the US.
