A large scale map commissioned to increase education about water sustainability and flooding. The map was hand painted and lettered at 75x75 cms and is used as part of a listening unit touring community centres and schools in Eastbourne and the surrounding area. Visitors can listen on headphones to thoughts and conversations about the five year project for Blue Heart which is funded by DEFRA's Flood and Coastal Innovation programme. The map accompanies the audio and shows how the local water system feeds into water treatment and pumping facilities alongside familiar town landmarks.
